Joining the AGS team in 2014, our President and Chief Executive Officer David Lopez has over 22 years of gaming industry experience. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Global Cash Access (acquired by Everi Holdings in 2014), and, prior to that, as Chief Operating Officer of Shuffle Master, Inc (now a part of Scientific Games). During his 13-year career with Shuffle Master, Lopez held various positions, including Interim CEO, Executive Vice President, President of the Americas, Vice President of Product Management, as well as serving as a member of its Board of Directors.

Hired at AGS in early 2015, Kimo Akiona, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Treasurer, brings over 17 years of accounting and financial management experience and extensive gaming industry knowledge to AGS. Before joining AGS, Akiona served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Bally Technologies and its acquired company SHFL entertainment, where he served 10 years in various roles. While at SHFL, he managed the global accounting function, which included leading teams in the U.S., Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America.

ENERAL COUNSEL + SECRETARY

Mr. Gallo joined American Gaming Systems (AGS) in February 2010 as Vice President, Licensing and Compliance and Compliance Officer and currently serves as its General Counsel, and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs. AGS operates about 19,000 slot machines in North America and Mexico, as well as provides tables games to numerous casinos, and operates an online and mobile social gaming business. Previously, Mr. Gallo was General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development for Youbet.com, an online horserace wagering company, and Vice President of Legal and Compliance and Corporate Counsel for Konami Gaming, a slot machine manufacturer. Mr. Gallo has also worked as a patent attorney in private practice, and as an active duty captain in the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps. Mr. Gallo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific. He is a member of the California Bar, the Nevada In-House counsel Bar, and the USPTO Patent Bar.

Sigmund Lee, our Chief Technology Officer, has had a successful career focused on creating end-user products and services.  He was appointed AGS’ Chief Technology Officer following the Company’s 2015 acquisition of Cadillac Jack, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. Lee’s previous gaming experience includes a tenure at Bally Technologies, where he served as the Vice President of Engineering. Prior to entering the gaming industry, Lee was a Fintech executive at several leading financial services companies.

Joining AGS as Chief Marketing Officer in late 2015, Julia Boguslawski leads integrated marketing and corporate communications designed to heighten AGS’ profile with its customers, the media, the industry, and the Company’s employees. Before joining AGS, Boguslawski helped drive corporate communications and manage operations for the Office of the CEO as Chief of Staff at Scientific Games, a then-$4 billion gaming and lottery supplier. Prior to that, Boguslawski served as Vice President of Global Marketing at Bally Technologies, and earlier, as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at SHFL entertainment.

Kris Morishige became AGS’ Chief of Staff and Senior Vice President of Finance in March 2019. She serves as an advisor to the CEO and senior management team; coordinates the execution of strategic initiatives; and assesses inquiries directed to the CEO. In addition, Morishige oversees treasury, planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Earlier in her AGS career, Morishige served six years as the Company’s Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis. Before joining AGS, she served 11 years as the Director of Finance at Shuffle Master.

Mark DeDeaux, Senior Vice President, Slots, joined AGS in 2019 to oversee games product management, gaming operations, and sales administration. In 2021 he was promoted with responsibility for the overall profitability of AGS’ slot business, through collaboration with R&D to formulate strategy and help successfully execute the development of AGS’ hardware and software slot portfolio. DeDeaux brings more than 24 years of gaming industry experience, including 13 years in gaming equipment sales and operations with Next Gaming, Scientific Games, and Bally Technologies, along with more than 10 years in casino management.

TABLE PRODUCTS

John Hemberger, Senior Vice President – Table Products, joined AGS in 2014 to create a table games division. For the past eight years, Hemberger has grown AGS’ table games portfolio to include a large library of game titles and a competitive array of table game equipment with product installations across the globe. Hemberger is responsible for business development, sales, R&D, and product management for all AGS table game products. He led the acquisition of some of the Company’s most successful table products to date – including Buster BlackjackWar BlackjackCriss Cross PokerBonus Spin, and In Bet Gaming’s portfolio.

LATIN AMERICA

Drew Pawlak joined AGS in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President and General Manager for Latin America, a role in which he oversees the Company’s Mexico business and is responsible for expanding prospects throughout Latin America. Pawlak previously served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for BMM Testlabs, where he was responsible for client engagement with gaming manufacturers in the Americas.

Adam Whitehurst, Senior Vice President – Slot Sales, joined AGS in 2019 to oversee North American slot sales and business development. He is an accomplished sales leader and business development executive with more than two decades of experience in Gaming, where he led sales teams to high levels of performance, successfully integrated sales teams after mergers and acquisitions, negotiated complex, multi-year, enterprise-wide deals, and established a strong track record of trusted customer success and building high-performance teams. Before joining AGS, he served five years as the Vice President of Game Sales for Scientific Games, and earlier in his career, served nearly 12 years in business development in the pharmaceutical industry.

BRAD BOYER

SVP– CORPORATE OPERATIONS + INVESTOR RELATIONS

Brad Boyer joined AGS in 2020 to serve as the Company’s Vice President – Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Strategy. In his role, Brad interfaces with members of the institutional investor community to clearly and effectively articulate AGS’ strategic priorities and financial objectives. Additionally, Brad supports the broader executive management team in evaluating business acquisition opportunities and formulating the Company’s long-term strategic roadmap. Brad joined AGS after a nearly 11-year career at Stifel, Nicolaus, and Company, where he ended his tenure as Vice President, Equity Research, Gaming & Leisure. In this role, he led coverage of the gaming, sports, i-Gaming, and leisure sectors, including covering AGS and the other publicly-traded gaming equipment suppliers and operators. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.

Kim Nasuta, Vice President of Human Resources, joined AGS in 2017 to oversee organizational development, recruitment and staffing, employment law, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and be the ambassador of company culture. Earlier, Nasuta served 10 years as the Director of Human Resources for SK+G, a full-service marketing agency, and she has held HR management positions with several other gaming, hospitality and technology-focused companies, including Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, Resort Gaming Group, Leisure Industries, and Tririga.
